点评:We were basically bussed between two docked boats and unpacked and packed 4 times over 10 days. The guides in the cities were very good but it hardly made up for the overall negative experience.
We were not informed that we would not be sailing at all until after we’d arrived in Prague when Viking was well aware that the unusual dry spell in April meant that the “Elegante Elbe” river was dangerously low. They could EASILY have sent us an email prior to departure alerting us to the high likelihood that we would not be sailing, and offering to let us reschedule. Instead, they left it to a low level “experience director” to deliver the news after we’d arrived in Prague and would clearly be stuck with whatever alternate arrangements they put in place. This was a deliberate and unethical calculation
on their part. Their only offer of compensation was a 60% off coupon for a future cruise which was laughably worthless to people who would never - under any circumstances - take another cruise with a company that so clearly puts profit over passenger experience.
