A beach worth going to!
小海滩的点评
点评：this is a private small beach that is generally not overcrowded but very ideally it’s a little difficult to get to.
Drive-through Kihei and Wailea and go to the public McKenna Beach parking area but if you park there it’s $26 a day per car . Many people just park along the road. Please keep your car locked because people that would steal from you know that you’re not in the immediate area watching the car. Over the years I’ve been to the beach many times and I’ve never had an issue but I’m just putting it out there that you should be careful with your belongings.
Once you walk through the parking area to the beach you will find yourself at Big beach and go to the far right if you’re facing the water and there is a large mound that you must climb over in order to get to Little beach . So this makes it difficult to bring coolers or anything of that sort so keep your things you want to bring there to the minimum.
There are no restroom facilities at Little Beach but there are Porta potties near the parking lot when you first enter big beach . There’s not much shade so you might want to bring a beach umbrella if you need shade.
Once you are at Little Beach you feel like you’ve gone to someplace special as if though you had your private little beach with just a few friends . There’s a view over the water to Mulaney and it’s something most people will remember of course mostly because it’s clothing optional but the beach itself really is nice.
