点评:We walked to the castle from town (Roughly 45-60 minutes uphill), there is one section that Google Maps will take you on a side path which some might consider sketchy (there is someone living in a makeshift camp with a large dog and other animals) but can be avoided by sticking to the main road. The original approach via the stairs has been closed, as there was recently a fire there and it appears they have yet to reclaim the land around the trail (whether they will is anyone's guess).
At one point in time, this attraction was maintained well and was certainly more enjoyable. As of now, it has been run down and the "museum" aspect simply allows a different view of town.
There seems to be limited access to areas which were previously accessible, which is disappointing as I think you could spend more time exploring the area surrounding the castle. As it is, 30-45 minutes walking around should suffice, there are photo opportunities on each aspect of the property.
Walk, drive or take the bus (check the schedule as it isn't very frequent) up to this viewpoint and enjoy the view, then head back into town.
