Great snorkeling. Sub-par amenities.
Playa Crash Boat的点评
点评：We are traveling from out of town and we’re told Crash Boat Beach is a “must see” so we made the two hour drive from San Juan.
Pros:
*Outstanding reefs and snorkeling
* Lots of food options
*Clear water for swimming
Cons:
*The competition for music is overwhelming at times. Be prepared as this is not a quiet beach setting.
*There is garbage and beer bottles everywhere. The garbage cans overflow and no one empties them.
*Parking is extremely limited. You will have to park almost a mile up the road and walk down.
*There is no place to change. There are extremely dirty port a potties but no real bathrooms.
*The “shower” is three small trickles of water just barely enough to clean you feet. Impossible to rinse off after going to the beach.
I understand the amenities are different in Puerto Rico but this place needs a lot of work. It’s a shame because they are clearly making a ton of money on parking and food kiosks.
If you want to see some of the best snorkeling on this side of the island go to Crashboat. If you are looking for a great overall experience and a quiet / clean beach go elsewhere.
