点评：What a super fun tour! Our family loved riding the tubes through the tunnels. The waterfall was “refreshing” but not bad at all. Our guide Makana was fantastic. Full of funny quips and also history of the island and tour. Helmets with headlamps and gloves were provided. Make sure to wear water shoes (or you can rent them for $). The lunch provided was delicious-croissants, lunch meats, cheese, veggies, chips, cookies and water.
Some notes:
From the check-in location it is about a 35 minute open-aired-bumpy-shuttle ride to the tubing location. We all loved the tubing but felt it was quite short. Maybe only about 40 minutes actually tubing.
Once in the tubes and floating you cannot hold onto other people or tubes. Our family quickly separated by the current and we didn’t reunite until the end. This was a little unnerving for mom and scary for the 9 year old. There are guides at the front and back, but not the same as family. At the end you can walk in the water and move back to find your family.
Photographers do take pictures along the way and you can download them all for $40 at the end.
The shuttle ride back is only about 20 minutes.
Sunscreen isn’t necessarily needed, as most of the tour is through the tunnels. Bug spray might be needed.
