Non-US Citizens Beware - Alcohol

点评：Popped by for a game on a Tuesday night v the White Sox whilst on holiday from the UK.
Now, I've been to a few ball parks in the US before and I've never had to produce a passport to be served beer, my UK driving license has always been sufficient.
I didn't bring my passport as this was never stated in the terms that non-US citizens need to produce a passport. After being refused service on this basis, I visited guest relations and explained the situation and that the terms and conditions do not state a passport is required for alcohol sales to non-US citizens.
Guest relations were really good (thanks again) and called the catering manager who validated my driving license and I was eventually able to get a beer, it was a headache I could have done without though.
The stadium is cool and I'm glad we visited. Great beer deals can be found, you can get 2 small Coors Banquet for $9, this is the same size as a large can that they sell for $17 I think. I also had a hot dog which was about $10, unfortunately it wasn't very good.
I would love to go again (passport in hand).
