点评：We drove up from Fort Wayne to check out the zoo. There were some pros. We had discounted admission because of our zoo membership with Toledo Zoo. The dinosaur exhibit is a cool adventure and adds to the experience. There was a music garden, which had a place for kids to draw on the fence. The tram to the African adventure was cool and necessary unless you want to walk a couple of miles uphill to get there. I did like how they had the Savanna set up as you were looking out over what seemed 10-20 acres of land and seeing animals from a distance.
The cons: not that many animals, ceiling on tram station is falling down, you walk on a slippery wooden path for most of the time and then there are weeds around, some of the exhibits like the bird calls one weren’t working, expensive food. If my son hadn’t wanted to experience a different zoo, we would have driven the same distance and enjoyed Toledo. However, it was a cool experience for a one time visit. I wouldn’t plan on going back for another visit.
