点评:We left our hotel in Santa Theresa early on a Sunday morning (around 9am?) and immediately felt a bit unsafe. We have travelled quite a lot and like to feel that we are quite streetwise! We were approached quite a few times by people asking for money or trying to 'give us directions' etc. It all felt quite threatening. We quickened our pace a bit and tried to press on to the tram station in down town where we were going to board the tram. A well-dressed youth approached us on a push bike and pretended to help us find the tram station, before taking my phone out of my front shorts pocket and cycling off. He was very quick and i had felt that the front pocket of fairly tight shorts was the best place for the phone. It's a real hassle having no phone abroad I can tell you, so I would say avoid Santa Theresa apart from the central touristy section and go there at times when there are a lot of people around.
