Raspberry Bliss: Delightful Berry Picking!

点评：Don’t miss this mini-escape on Graysmarsh Berry Farm - where you can leisurely wander along manicured rows of luxuriant vines heaped with berries from top to bottom! Harvesting is easy, with berries reachable at all heights – a bonus for little youngsters to tall adults. Luckily the sweetest berries fall right into your hand!
It’s not crowded because there are so many rows, and you can wander the “aisles” at your own pace. What a great way to spend an hour outdoors, gathering sun-warmed fruit right off the vine, and relish the beauty of the day!
There are other berries to pick too – including blueberries, blackberries, loganberries, & boysenberries. It’s a favorite place for kids & families, and you’ll likely hear much laughter of the children as they find a dazzling berry.
It’s best to wear old shoes, since the pathways often have squished red berries that will stain the soles of your shoes. You can spend an hour or more in the berry fields, & then wander over to the lavender fields where you can gather wands, & enjoy taking photos.
We really favored the raspberries – the BEST we’ve ever had – absolutely ambrosial, plump & chock full of flavor!
Parking is free in a nearby lot, & it’s an easy walk to the entryway fruit stand where buckets & plastic bags are provided. You can also buy flats of the berries already picked ($17.50 for ½ flat of blackberries or raspberries), but you’ll miss the joy of picking your own!
Price of our U-pick raspberries was $3.75 per pound (cash); or you can use a credit card, with small surcharge. Check out their Facebook page for latest updates!
