Great artifacts and models, but there's room for improvement.
Zeppelin Museum的点评
点评：Being a major fan of dirigible history, I was pretty much in my happy place at this museum. The fact that you can walk through full scale replicas of the HINDENBURG's interiors is just incredible. The displays contain some amazing artifacts, and the models of the various airships are fantastic. Price-wise, I think it's very reasonable.
There are, unfortunately, a few annoying quirks. First, many of the display placards are in German only. Considering Zeppelin history has a major connection with the U.S., it doesn't make sense to alienate English-speaking visitors. Next, there is no obvious route one should take through the museum; things are sort of all over the place. And finally, the most annoying thing was that they wouldn't let my wife bring her small handbag in with her (it's literally the size of a quart-sized Ziplock bag). She had to place it in a locker while we walked around the museum. Not a big deal, really....BUT, we had to pay three euros to use the locker. Let me get this straight: she couldn't bring in a small handbag, so we were forced to use a locker, and then we had to pay for it? It's not like we had a choice. Afterall, not allowing handbags is their idea, not ours. Besides, exactly what do they think people are going to swipe in a museum where everything is in a display case? It's not like you can walk out with a section of girder from the GRAF ZEPPELIN.
Quirks aside, it was an enjoyable experience.
