VERY BAD EXPERIENCE - choose wisely!

点评：We chose this stable for the high ratings that they have and the convenient location to where we were staying. I would agree with other ratings that the horses were well cared for and equipment was in good condition. Staff were friendly and helpful. HOWEVER… my issue started due to the fact that when asked about riding experience, my husband told staff that it was extensive (not a lie). Our group for the 4 hour ride was 6 including the guide, who was great! My horse right from the start did not want to listen to commands, and what should have been a relaxing ride taking in the beautiful views ended up being a 4 hour war with a horse who clearly should not be used for this purpose. Both of my hands had blisters by the end of the first hour, despite my attempts to use different tactics to change the horses behavior. By the end of the ride, I had open blisters and could barely hold the reins. Multiple staff members confided in me that they have concerns about this horse being used for trail rides. This was supposed to be one of two highlights of our entire trip, however instead is a very bad memory that I paid a lot of money for. I have reached out to the stables to discuss my concerns but have not received any response. Very disappointed.
