点评：I absolutely used to love visiting this pub when it did Mexican food. It had great food, great value and a great atmosphere.
Sadly, I think it changed hands and the Mexican food was a small offering and now it's not offered at all.
The menu is limited in choice which isn't normally an issue but the offerings are quite pricey. The price wouldn't normally be an issue but when you ordered a macaroni cheese for £14 with a side salad, you would expect something more than half a handful of lettuce leaves with a drizzle of dressing. The portion of macaroni cheese was very small and very salty - I'm not sure if it was the type of cheese used or just too much salt added. All the main offerings of burgers, etc, were very small portions too.
It's definitely a lovely setting and the summer offers a lovely back garden. But the atmosphere has gone with no music or background noise and they should definitely bring back the Mexican offerings as it was always full to the brim.
All the staff were lovely and accommodating so it is a shame that other elements aren't as good as they used to be.
