Fabulous tasting in a wonderful location

点评：A fabulous tasting of some lovely wines in a very picturesque location.
We booked the VIP tasting which includes 6 wines for each of us to try (4 x white + 2 x red) along with a platter of cheeses (you can also have a mix of cheese & meats). We were warmly greeted almost as soon as we arrived at the winery and as we were slightly early invited to soak up the views and enjoy a glass of the Chardonnay. You are given a tour of the winery and an explanation of the history of the winery and then it was onto enjoying the food, wine and views. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable (I think her name was Elena but apologies if I have that wrong) and explained the wine making process in an easy to understand manner.
We particularly enjoyed the aged Malvazija as well as the semi sweet wine (which went so well with the warm apple cake).
A truly wonderful tasting and a great way to spend an afternoon. We hope to be back.
