Lovely staff, but disappointing facilities!

Pros:
- Friendly and welcoming staff: Staff were attentive and made the experience enjoyable.
- Excellent treatments: We had a mini back massage and mini facial, both of which were fantastic.
- Spacious pool area: The pool was large and well-maintained, with a good hot tub.
- Afternoon tea: The afternoon tea was lovely and accompanied by great service.
Cons:
- Multiple spa areas across different floors: The layout required going up and down between the pool, relaxation room/treatment areas, which was inconvenient, especially walking around hotel rooms in a robe.
- Unisex changing room with limited privacy: The changing room only offered cubicles with curtains, which did not provide adequate comfort or privacy.
- Lack of basic shower facilities: There were no shower facilities available, which was surprising for a spa. While the staff kindly allowed me to use a private shower room upon request, there was only one such shower, and it was not available to all guests. This shower room also lacked shampoo so I ended washing my hair with shower gel!
- No hairdryers or amenities in the changing room: The changing room lacked basic amenities such as hairdryers or toiletries. Despite paying £200 for the spa day, I had to leave with wet hair, which was very disappointing.
Overall:
While the staff and treatments were exceptional, the lack of basic spa amenities and the layout of the facilities left me feeling unsatisfied. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.
