点评：We went for the pre-planned and pre-paid tour of the place in April. It was a minibus trip.
The museum's collection is rich, logical, well thought out, and meticulously structured. Marina the owner who played hostess made an informative an hour-and-a-half presentation but behaved so rambunctiously that we were afraid at times she'd maul us in her excitement. The tour wrapped up quite peacefully, however, so all's well that ends well.
Here are a few tips that might be of help. 1. Make sure to schedule the visit at least two weeks in advance. 2. Bring an interpreter if you're not a fluent Russian speaker. 3. Switch off your iPhone before you reach the territory adjacent to the house. Don't even consider turning it on until you've left the entire area. Doing so could endanger your health since Ma'am Marina will go full tonto, blow a fuse, and raise all hell. 4. Be ready for a frequent high pitched, sporadically acerbic, and generally aggressive narration in Russian. 5. If you have any questions, ask them circumspectly, wait until her "Sturm und Drang" is over, and pick your words really warily. 6. Always be on alert.
If you follow these simple precautions, you'll return back home safe and sound.
