点评:This was our first time at the SaskTel Centre. We came from Winnipeg to see Lainey Wilson . We have been to concerts in most major Canadian cities but definitely would think twice before returning to see another show here.
Entering and exiting the venue grounds is a total cluster eff so give yourself plenty of time if you are going to a sold out show. When leaving expect it to be a slow process as those in charge of traffic flow seem to have no idea what is going on.
The venue itself is old. Its lack of modern design in the seating is noticeable and I found myself looking at the backs of the heads of the people in front of me. The rafters hang low and in turn the sound equipment for the concert hangs low as well obstructing the view in places in the upper level seats.
One of the weirdest things yet was when the concert started the lights completely shut off in the upper concourse making it difficult to see while ordering food or drinks. I’m not even sure how this is code. Anyhow, having been to plenty of concert venues this is by far the worst.
