点评：My experience with Evolution 2 in Val d’Isère was deeply disappointing and concerning, particularly regarding how young children (5–6 years old) were treated.
The instructors were consistently disrespectful toward the kids. Instead of patience, encouragement, and support, which are fundamental in teaching children, there was yelling, intimidation, and a complete lack of empathy. The result was emotional distress significant enough that the children explicitly asked not to return.
On the mountain, basic safety and care were lacking. I personally witnessed an instructor shouting at three small children who were struggling to put their skis on just a few meters away. Rather than assisting them, the instructor stood by and yelled saying disrespectful strong words to the kids.
Even worse, when two of the children tried to help the third, the instructor prohibited them from doing so. The child became visibly distressed. An instructor from École du Ski Français (ECF), from another school entirely, stopped to help kid put the ski seeing this absurd situation. That contrast in professionalism was stark and telling.
There was also a serious issue regarding supervision and support. When children fell or needed help, instructors did not proactively assist them, simply ignore and yell to them. For 5–6 year olds on a mountain, this is unacceptable.
Additionally, the school charges €45 per meal per day, yet the food provided was mostly rice (picture attached). That pricing is indefensible relative to what was served.
Beyond the children’s experience, the overall treatment of customers lacked respect and professionalism.
Ski school at this age should build confidence, joy, and trust in the mountains. Instead, this experience created anxiety and trauma. I cannot recommend Evolution 2 for young children based on what I witnessed. Kids treated like animals .
