A Warm and Intimate Wine Experience in Cortona

点评：We had such a wonderful experience at Il Fritto Winery in Cortona! From the moment we arrived, the family welcomed us with warmth and hospitality. They gave us a fantastic tour, answering all of our questions about wine making, grapes, and even the soil that gives their wines such unique character.
When we entered the tasting room, the table was beautifully set with meats, cheeses, fresh bread, and perfectly placed glasses. The space itself looked newly renovated, with thoughtful touches and beautiful displays of their hand-painted wine bottles, wines, and olive oils.
Each tasting was outstanding and paired perfectly with the food board. The flavors were so well balanced, and it was clear how much care and pride went into every bottle. We ended up purchasing a dozen bottles to ship home and a few more to enjoy during the rest of our trip.
What really set Il Fritto apart was how personal and intimate the experience felt. Unlike larger wineries we visited in Tuscany, this tour felt like being welcomed into someone’s home. The family’s passion for their craft and generosity in sharing it made this our favorite wine tasting of the trip.
Highly recommend to anyone visiting Cortona—you’ll leave with a full heart, happy taste buds, and a new appreciation for Tuscan wine.
