Antigua Fly Fishing Charters的点评
点评：The booking and boat……
Just returned from Antigua where I had booked 2 seperate day charges with Nick. The booking process is easy with Nick personally getting back to me.
I had actually fished with Nick 10yrs previous where we went float tubing in the mangroves.
In the years since Nick has acquired a new boat - the Tarponator. The boat got us to the many spots Nick chose both quickly and efficiently. in getting to a few areas we encountered some what would be describe as lumpy water to which the boat (obviously aided by the captain) traversed safely and comfortably
The fishing …… It was quite simply excellent -10/10 off the scale.
I hooked up on over 20 tarpon of which I reckon I played a dozen and getting half a dozen to hand. Incredible stuff with fish in the 20-40 lb range - tho last a larger one when the hooked pulled after a lengthy scrap.
At one station Nick spotted a small shoal of 5 or 6 Permit plus the odd larger solitary ones. A lighter rod had already been set up which we put into use immediately - using crab impression flies lost one and finally for me after many years trying gone one in the boat - amazing !
The Captain…. Nick has clearly built up tremendous knowledge of the area as we fished new areas on the second outing - his fish spotting is superb as is his handling of the boat.
Although I would consider my casting as pretty competent Nicks assistance to improve your casting is brilliant. His form of words to get the physics of the cast into your mind I found really
helpful.

船长……尼克在我们第二次出海钓鱼时，显然对这片区域有了非常深入的了解——他的鱼情观察能力和船技都一流。
虽然我认为我的抛竿技术已经相当熟练，但尼克在改进抛竿方面的指导非常出色。他用一种能够让你理解抛竿物理原理的语言，我觉得真的很有帮助。
