Don’t bother with Weavers

点评：It’s a shame that the cafe here does not make you feel welcome.
Popped into Pavers shoes which is always good and where the staff are helpful.
Thought I would get a cup of tea at Weavers cafe on the same site. Don’t think it’s been there very long and I don’t know how long it will be there as nobody seems to visit this shopping village anymore.
Also the cafe seems to treat customers as an inconvenience.
It closes at 4pm, but I just managed to get cuppa at 3.30pm. I have always found myself to be the only customer whenever I visit. No wonder really as I felt unwelcome. A member of staff who was mopping the floor in the main area directed me to a table near door. The main lights were off and I was told they would be closing at 4pm - quite early for a tea shop I think- but I did have time for a pot of tea.
I asked the woman with the mop whether she could turn the radio off. I just wanted a peaceful half hour and didn’t think it would be a problem as I was the only customer .
She told me that they had the radio on all day and was it too loud?
I told her no, I just didn’t like it!
I think she just shrugged and ignored me, leaving the radio on.
Very inconsiderate to say the least!
I quickly finished my tea and left asap.
I have to add that the other member of staff there was
perfectly polite.
BTW there are lots more places for tea and coffee in Wilton, so luckily no need to visit Weavers in the future!

我觉得她只是耸了耸肩，没理我，收音机一直开着。
至少可以说，她非常不体谅人！
我很快喝完茶，就赶紧离开了。
我得补充一点，那里的另一位工作人员
非常有礼貌。
顺便说一句，威尔顿还有很多喝茶和咖啡的地方，所以幸运的是，以后不用再去Weavers了！
