A Must-Visit for Families in Central Florida!
Florida Children's Museum的点评
点评：We had an amazing experience at the Florida Children’s Museum in Lakeland — it’s a hidden gem for families looking for hands-on, screen-free fun. Our kids had a blast from the moment we arrived!
Outside the building is Blinky the Alligator, a giant yellow slide structure that kicks off the adventure. Just watch the heat on sunny days — we brought a boogie board to slide down without any “ouch!”
Inside, the museum is bright, clean, and welcoming. You’re greeted by DOT the Dragon, a huge centerpiece full of toys. Staff were kind and helpful, and pricing is fair: $20 general admission, $16 for Florida residents, with discounts for military and first responders. They also offer a $150 family membership that pays for itself in just a few visits.
The first floor is packed with fun zones for all ages — infant areas, a watermelon garden-themed section for toddlers, air tables, a giant Lite-Brite wall, and so much more.
The second floor was our favorite:
• A music room full of pots, pans, and percussion
• A pretend grocery store
• Veterinarian clinic and police station (complete with costumes!)
• Food truck, weather station, and creative play areas galore
We brought our 6-month-old and met up with friends who have a 2-year-old — and both kids had a wonderful time. It wasn’t overcrowded, and there was space to explore at our own pace.
This museum is located inside Bonnet Springs Park, which is a destination in itself. You could easily spend an entire day here between the museum, the playgrounds, and food options (more on that in a separate review!).
Bottom line: If you’re anywhere near Central Florida, especially with little ones, this is absolutely worth the visit. Fun, educational, affordable, and designed with families in mind.

• 美食餐车、气象站和丰富的创意游乐区
我们带着6个月大的孩子，和带着2岁孩子的朋友一起去——两个孩子都玩得很开心。那里人不多，而且有足够的空间让我们按照自己的节奏探索。
这家博物馆位于博内特泉公园内，公园本身就是一个景点。博物馆、游乐场和各种美食选择，足以让你在这里度过一整天（更多内容请见另一篇评论！）。
总之：如果你在佛罗里达州中部附近，尤其是带着小朋友，这里绝对值得一游。充满乐趣、富有教育意义、价格实惠，而且设计充分考虑了家庭的需求。
