点评：We had an absolutely brilliant time at Hogs Back Brewery, and while the beer was fantastic and the tour itself well worth it, what truly made it memorable was our host, Mel. From the moment we arrived, he was warm, welcoming, and downright hilarious — the kind of person who makes you feel like you're catching up with an old friend over a pint (or three).
Mel’s knowledge about the brewing process, the local history, and all things hops-related was genuinely impressive, but it was his storytelling and sharp wit that stole the show. We were hanging on every word, laughing the whole way through, and by the end, it felt like the tour could have gone on for hours and we’d still be entertained.
We even ended up buying Mel’s book — not because we’re big readers, but because he was so fascinating. If it captures even half his charm and insight, it’ll be a great read.
If you're considering the tour, do it — and if you’re lucky enough to get Mel as your guide, you're in for a treat. Cheers to an unforgettable experience!
