点评：When staying in Lerwick, we visited the Lerwick Brewery, actually just outside of town. It is the most northerly brewery in the UK and the only place in Shetland which has proper, traditional cask ale. They brew a range of beers and we tried all which were available at the time. They were all excellent. They offer both the bitter/pale ale and the oatmeal stout as cask-conditioned Real Ale but have only one cask pump so they rotate these. At the time we visited, they had just changed to the bitter, which was truly excellent, a very characterful, well-balanced traditional English bitter or pale ale. Of the keg beers, all were great but the IPA (a robust, balanced, 20th-century British-style IPA instead of the more recent American-craft type) stood out as excellent. That beer was on tap at two nice restaurants in town, also, se we kept getting it there afterwards. They have a nice gift shop upstairs, as well. We understand that the offer tours, but we didn't have time to schedule that. The brewer manning the tap room was extremely friendly and as the actual brewer was very knowledgeable about the beers.
