A friendly club and a brilliant course
Ranfurly Castle Golf Club的点评
点评：The friendliest golf course I’ve ever had the pleasure of playing. I made a huge mistake and booked the other course in the village but the lady (I think her name was Dawn) in the pro shop couldn’t have been more understanding and helpful and got me and my friend out on the course straight away.
The course itself is a total delight. Some very challenging holes but also some that offer a birdie chance. The views across Glasgow and beyond are spectacular. Definitely a course that is easier the second time playing as there are a few blind tee shots that you really need to focus on.
My playing partner and I let a friendly couple play through. The gentleman accidentally played my ball, but it wasn’t a problem as we swapped back the next hole. On completion of our round we had a great chicken burger in the clubhouse and were told by the very friendly bar manager that the chap who picked my ball up had left money behind the bar for drinks! So kind.
Just before we left, the vice captain came over to chat. A great ambassador for the club - warm and friendly. He as well offered us a drink! We would have loved to have accepted but time was against us.
We’re already organising our next visit to this brilliant golf club.
