点评：I stayed for 2 weeks at the Safa surf camp and had the best time. Everyone was very friendly and helpful with anything I needed. The camp was lovely! Really comfortable and well run, with a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast after the morning surf each day. Situated right on the beach so you'll be falling asleep to the sound of waves breaking in the background. Plus with all the town's bars and restaurants just a short walk from the camp, whether you're partying or relaxing, it's in a great location.
As an intermediate surfer I found that having Isak as my instructor really helped me to improve my surfing while I was there. He was so enthusiastic about surfing and always had a smile on his face. He puts a lot of effort into making sure you have a good time and you get lots of good waves. We went to the best surf spots for our ability each day and arrived for sunrise which often meant getting clean waves all to ourselves for the first 30 min or so. Thanks to Isak's coaching I caught so many good waves over the course of my trip and really started to feel comfortable surfing there.
Overall the surf camp was exceptional. I really enjoyed my stay and made lots of new friends while I was there. I will definitely be going back and highly recommend this for any beginner or intermediate surfers looking for a friendly and social surf camp in Arugam Bay.
I would also recommend doing a safari to Kumana while you're there as we saw leopards and loads of other amazing animals. Not to mention the fact that you'll be seeing crocodiles, elephants, peacocks and monkeys most days anyway!
