Could Be MUCH Better, Exactly As Expected!

点评：Longtime Naples residents but first time to Dog Beach! Brought our 4 month old GSD puppy to Dog Beach for a little swim and socialization for the afternoon. Planned the visit based upon low tide for the day which got us there around 11am. on a weekday. Knowing the potential issues with Dog Beach we were well aware of certain scenarios and in all honesty, Dog Beach was everything we expected.
There was a mix of dog owners and breeds, all dogs were Off Leash except for ours. All dogs ran and were having a good time, some were meeting the new people that just showed up.
Dog mentality rules the beach.
There were a few Owners that just let the dogs wander and we encountered one who did just that with trying to mark his territory on my beach bag... nothing that a swift shove of my bag on the ill mannered dog as he lifted his leg couldn't resolve my problem that the Owners next to me were "unaware" of.
There was indeed a mix of Owners who either were "Live and Let Live they are dogs" mentality and those who supervised their pooches. We did not notice anyone drinking, but it was a weekday and early in the day. Weekends may be a completely different story and I have indeed heard about those...
The beach is not exceptionally large, and sand to park yourself will be at a minimum, dogs do relieve themselves, as dogs do, but we did observe Owners trying their best to be Good Dog parents by cleaning up after them.
All in all, it was what we expected, won't be back any time soon. Perhaps once a year, OUT of Season and during the week...
Water was pretty, TANJĒ, our GSD had an experience at the beach and that is all that mattered!

海滩不是特别大，可以自己停放的沙子很少，狗会自己排泄，就像狗一样，但我们确实观察到狗主人尽力做好狗父母，清理狗的粪便。
总而言之，这是我们所期望的，不会很快再来。也许一年一次，淡季和工作日……
