Bastogne War Museum的点评
点评：Turned up mid week without pre booking but didn't have to wait to gain entry, absolute plus.
Museum is interesting but doesn't have the wow factor. Museum is vastly overpriced and so are the books and souvenirs in the shop.
What really upset me was having walked over 2 miles and accessing the Bois Jacques Foxholes, there was a sign requesting me to scan a QR code to access an interactive experience on my phone. I did this and I was presented with a screen on my phone to access FREE media. I entered my debit card details and couldn't access anything.
A few days later my bank contacted me and stated they had declined attempts by myhelpshop.com to withdraw £40.56 from my account. (they made four attempts - I have since cancelled my card and awaiting a new one). Myhelpshop consistently receive poor reviews.
Are the Bastogne War Museum aware of myhelpshops misleading practices and if so, why do they endorse them ?
I will return to the Bastogne area but not this museum. I will revisit the 101st Airborne Museum in the town, fabulous museum and actually worth the money
