点评:This small museum was one of the highlights of my trip to India, if you’re a crafter be sure to go - it’s on the road to the Amber Fort. Firstly it was unbelievably cheap to get in, 80 rupees! I found it so interesting lots of displays of hand printed garments and information about how they are made. The exhibition is over many floors and some of the stairways are very steep and need care if you’re less mobile. At the very top there is a demonstration of how a block is created, and then the artisan made a small flower block which he gave me to take away. In the next room another artisan demonstrates the printing process, using a series of blocks and colours. He encouraged me to join in and follow his lead to produce a small square of fabric with a border design. This museum should definitely be charging more for the entrance fee. There is a charming little shop selling products they have produced. I wish they had also sold some of the wooden blocks- I would have bought loads. Highly recommended
