Brilliant lodge based six night dog sledding trip

点评：I had a brilliant time on the six night dog sledding lodge based trip. Everything was perfect.
Spending six days and nights surrounded by dogs was just amazing. The four days of sledding was great fun, and I loved being on the trails. Jeff and co are great guides, and the working dogs are all fantastic, affectionate and incredibly well cared for.
Manuela is the perfect host, and it is clear how much she and Jeff love what they do. Manuela’s food was lovely, and the vegetarian options she prepared for me were delicious. The mango and white chocolate cheesecake is worthy of a special mention.
In addition to four brilliant days of dog sledding, we also visited the wildlife preserve and the local hot springs - both great additions to the trip. I was incredibly lucky to see the northern lights on three nights too!
The lodge is comfortable and cosy, with the highlight for me being the many adorable retired dogs who call the lodge their home. I was sad to leave, and would love to come back for a summer trip or another sledding trip in the future.
