Awesome Trip (even with a taxing guest)

点评：I was on the same trip as the previous reviewer pradeep494, and sadly his comments, recollection of events, treatment, and review are misleading and in some cases factually incorrect. He was ill-prepared, lazy, selfish, rude, arrogant, ignorant and culturally insensitive. Immediately after he slipped (the incident he refers to) he was seen and treated by both an ICU nurse and a doctor (1 of 3 doctors who were available). From the beginning to the end he was a liability, and Unique (and other guests) went over and beyond to cater to his 'demands' to keep him safe during the entire trip.
There is a quote that says "Some people don't want to be fixed, because being broken gets them attention."
Apart from having to endure this one guest, it was a great trip. Our group enjoyed new friendships, laughter, stories, and the experience of te awa. Both guides, Connor and Ru, were easy going, supportive, knowledgable, safe, and experienced. They provided that right balance between guiding and allowing us to experience and enjoy the thrills of the journey. The facilities we stayed at were very well maintained, clean, and comfortable. The hosts were hospitable, friendly, sensitive to the individual, and nothing was a problem.
I would definitely recommend, and we are already planning our next trip - perhaps over summer when the rapids are running higher...
