点评:Maybe this place looks better in the Summer when the flowers are out, but it wasn't very appealing mid March. The flowerbeds were bare, glass covered the ground in various places and everywhere was covered in swan/duck/geese poo. It's not a place you'd want to sit and have a picnic. We came for a dog walk as a change of scenery from our usual haunts, and it was 'ok' for an hour's walk. The car park was free, which was great, and there were plenty of bins around. We walked along to the old ferry bridge, then turned and walked back the other way as far as we could. There were some interesting notice boards re the history of the area/prominent families of times past etc, but we felt more could be made of this as Burton has a rich history. Maybe info as to where the Brizlincote Hall was (is ?), what the filled in spring/well is etc. We didn't feel 100% at ease whilst there, as there were lots of dubious looking types with huge dogs etc, but people that spoke to us were very friendly, and we probably would go back again to see what it's like in the summer.
