Outstanding botanical gardens - a 'must see' when visiting Santa Criz

点评：My wife and I visited the Palmetum Palm Gardens in Santa Cruz during a holiday in Tenerife. We were able to park in the adjacent free car park. The garden entry fee was Euro 6 each but I also purchased the guide for another 50c. Although there are a few maps situated around the park, I found the guide very helpful for navigating around the various pathways, so would recommend purchasing one. They come in several languages.
The gardens are laid out by region (e.g., Africa, Asia, Central America, etc.). Although the main theme is palm trees, there are numerous other trees in the park, such as a baobab, and the local dragon trees.
The gardens are immaculate with some magnificent specimens. This is a ‘must see’ when visiting Santa Cruz.
