点评:Went there with my two brothers and their wives. My brothers and I are all veterans and one of my sisters-in-law asked them if they had a veteran’s discount. The guy said, “3 Vets. How about $20.00 for all six of you?” Not bad considering the senior price is $8.00 per person. The museum is quite interesting. I have lived in this area for 78 years and I have never visited this museum. Upon going through the museum I saw pictures of buildings that were either torn down or burned down years ago. I saw a picture of the school that I went to in elementary school. I even broke my right wrist while playing on the monkey bars when I was in the 3rd grade at this school. Plenty of art, Shaker style furniture, Victorian style furniture, grandfather clocks, dolls, doll houses, antique carriages, etc. They even have a gallery devoted to Neil Armstrong who lived outside of town for 20 or so years after his historic walk on the moon. If you look at everything in the museum, you can easily spend 4 or 5 hours in looking at everything. This place is indeed a local treasure and something to check out if you’re in the area.
