点评：An absolutely wonderful experience. Nathan, the son of the family operating this tour, punctually picked us up at the pier in Stanley and drove us for maybe 25 minutes to his family's "farm" (a mere 10,000 acres ...) where we went off-road to visit several different penguin colonies. Nathan took every possible care to make the ride over the uneven terrain as easy as possible and gave us all necessary information about life as a sheep farmer on the Falklands, the landscape and the wildlife. He is a genuinely nice person with whom it was a pleasure to spend time. We saw all four different species of penguins as promised, as well as a large number of other bird species. The only other vehicle we saw throughout the tour, from afar, was his mother's Land Rover as she was taking other guests around. (She had also baked the biscuits we had as part of our lunch - delicious.) The farm comprises all kinds of terrain including beaches, craggy mountains, ponds and other bodies of water. Incidentally, there are also a couple of toilets available on the way.
I have not taken any other tour on the islands but can only imagine what it must be like to visit a penguin colony with dozens of other people around. This is a different kettle of fish altogether, a truly privileged way to see Falklands wildlife and worth every penny.
