Pikey Peak Trek in February
Three Jewels Adventures的点评
点评：As said, Pikey Peak is popular spot to sight the 8000m giant mountains. On the peak that day, we managed to sight Annapurna ranges, Makalu, Lhotse, Manaslu and Kanchenjunga. Also Gaurishankar and Numbur peaks.
Pikey Peak certainly serves a happy beginning for early trekkers like me and the sightings of the 8000m giant mountains is very rewarding.
I were a bit hesitant to trek late Winter in Nepal on February, but it turns out as a blessing where clear skies presented upon us everyday so the mountains are visible elsewhere. Temperature in the afternoon around 16⁰C, slightly windy, which is very enjoyable during trek and chilly to enjoy in the evening.
Snow traces are still visible on the way to Pikey Base Camp and during descending route.
This is my 2nd time having Three Jewels Adventures arranged my trip to Nepal, also have booked my 3rd trip to trek Tamang Heritage and Langtang Valley trail for next year, an honest remarks of my satisfaction upon the service and Nepali hospitality rendered.
