点评：There is a sign on 441; states Taylor Creek Stormwater Treatment area, just North of Okeechobee, FL. There is a permanent restroom there and a sign indicating the trails and how long each trail is. Not much shade on the trails so be prepared with hates and water. Lots of cattails in the main water sections which is great for the birds. There is a creek running along the berm you walk on with additional water for birds and reptiles. We had a great day. Saw many different birds, and alligators. The Great Blue Herons were very friendly. Although we couldn't see lots of birds in the cattails you sure could hear them. We were blessed to see a kingfisher, green heron, snowy and cattle egrets, Glossy and baby blue and tricolors. Nesting Blue Heron and Blue Herons cleaning themselves on the banks. . The Red shouldered Hawk scared us as he lurched out of a tree, or maybe we scared him. The best spot of the day was seeing a swallow tailed kite soaring above us for a few minutes. This is a gem of a place and we passed several people jogging/running the area. Also people with binoculars like us. We really enjoyed the walk and the experience.
