点评：Having visited this place before Covid, it’s a stark contrast to its present state. It looks nice from the outside, but it’s clearly in need of some TLC.
Spa itself is quite small and the whirlpool is not much warmer than the pool. We were lucky in that it was quiet and had some space in the sauna and steam room as if not it would be cramped. I’d say it fits 5 people in each comfortably.
The changing rooms are old and need some modernising. The treatment included was now some kind of electronic water based massage machine and has replaced the human element of a relaxing spa. We had access to water and some fruit tea, but no milk, limited selection of drinks and no biscuits on offer.
Afternoon tea was ok, large amount which was nice, and scone was beautiful. Tea and coffee were not the best tasting and the room itself is definitely looking tired.
Overall it was ok, but won’t be hurrying back. It’s not a 3 star and if you are paying more than £50, you would feel cheated.
