Thirumalai Kovil的点评
点评：This place is dedicated to Lord Murugan.
I started my journey from tirunelveli junction.
I got the train in platform 5 to tenkasi junction by shengottai express which will start by 9:45 am.
45 rupees for 73 kms. It took around 1:30 to 2 hrs to reach tenkasi junction.
Once I reached there, I had a walk to kasi vishwanathar temple which is around 1 kms from junction. Temple will close by 12 pm but somehow it was opened.
After that, had lunch at Ananda bhavan. There is not restaurant near the temple apart from this for meals.
After finishing my lunch, started by walk to tenkasi old bus stand to get the bus for thirumalai Kovil . It was mostly a private bus . Charged 16 rupees. 30 to 40 minutes to reach at the bottom.
Then you devotional walk starts, you should climb atleast 600 steps.
Main god is lord Murugan. Then thirumalai Kali and ganapathy.
Once reached the top , then you see to the left for ganapathy in that you have to climb 16 steps .
Temple closure is 12 pm and start by 4:30 pm.
To rejuvenate yourselves, you had a small shop.
If your not able to walk, you can have bus for 10 rupees from bottom to top.
Pilgrims waiting hall there at the top of hill. Toilet is there.
You can see hill is surrounded by mountains.
