More than a winery—it’s a Hye-light of your Hill Country weekend

点评：Spent a lovely and restful weekend in Texas wine country, and one of the highlights was our visit to Hye Meadow Winery. Tucked away in charming Hye, TX, this winery was a pleasant surprise—both in quality and atmosphere.
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Their friendly, upbeat energy and clear attention to detail elevated the entire experience. The service was personal without being overbearing, and it was clear the team really cares about creating a memorable visit.
The wines? Spectacular. As a self-proclaimed red wine snob, I was impressed—the Aglianico stood out as a true gem, rich and well-balanced. Paired with one of their delicious flatbreads, it made for a perfect afternoon. The food overall was thoughtful and beautifully paired with both their red and white selections. Other wines to note were the Boom, Full Monte, and the Montepulciano!
To top it all off, the setting is serene and beautifully landscaped, offering gorgeous views that invite you to linger and relax. It’s a place where time slows down, and you can really enjoy the moment.
Owners Mike and Denise Batek go above and beyond to make the experience even more special. Their warmth and passion for what they do shines through in every part of the winery, and it’s clear that their personal touch is a big part of what makes Hye Meadow so exceptional.
