Kayak trip to a Natural Wonder

点评：We stayed at Copamarina Resort on the south coast of Puerto Rico near the town of Guanica. Here, we rented a tandem kayak for 2 hours to go out to Aurora Cay. We were the 1st to go out at 8:50 am. The water was calmer early that day, and the sun was not too hot yet. It took about us about 20 mins to reach the small island, and we beached on the north side. Pelicans and birds greeted us, and we saw a sign indicating it is a manatee zone. The snorkeling was good, but only go if you are a strong swimmer and an experienced kayaker. After a while, we explored the channels dividing the 2 cays. The waters were clear and warm. We saw a giant gar and birds of all types. The mangroves protect this wildlife sanctuary. It was an unforgettable morning, and we hope to return one day soon. There are no facilities here, so be sure to pack all the needed essentials. The tides and wind worked in our favor upon our return. As we left, a couple of small boats arrived with visitors. We're adventurous and recommended the trip to anyone who can get out there.
