A VERY ENJOYABLE DAY OUT ( FOR TWO SCOUSERS)

点评：I went for a day on BARNSFOLD FLY FISHERY.Accompanied by a friend.
It was one of many visits during the summer of 23.
We are still novices to this sport but have been coarse fishing many times.
When you arrive you feel a relaxing atmosphere,a very well managed fishery.
There is a self pay building AND a toilet block which is also a cosy log cabin.
You can enjoy your lunch if the weather is not too kind in the cabin, log stove
also in the cabin.
The parking is excellent never a problem.
What I like best is the friendliness of everybody you meet there,
The owner is a very friendly person who is very unassuming. when we first met him
we did not even know he was the owner.
The fishing is excellent and always well stocked,the average trout weigh 2.1/2lb
many are bigger.
The surrounding countryside is natural and unspoilt.The two lakes are open on a high elevation and wind can be a problem but the lakes are large enough to find shelter.
We caught six trout between the both of us and enjoyed a very relaxing day out.
All credit to the owner and staff for this lovely fishery.
