点评：During our recent trip to Huatulco, we had the absolute pleasure of spending four magical hours on the ocean with Captain Valentino and his son, Roman. It was truly one of the most memorable experiences of our entire vacation.
From the moment we stepped onto their fishing boat, we knew we were in good hands. Valentino is incredibly knowledgeable—not just about fishing, but also about the local wildlife, the ocean, and the rich culture and history of Mexico. His passion and respect for the sea are contagious, and it was an absolute joy to learn from him throughout the day.
We were lucky enough to see dolphins swimming alongside the boat, a school of manta rays gliding just beneath the surface, several turtles, and a Mother humpback whale and her baby playing. It felt like something out of a dream. I also caught a black skipjack and one other fish whose name I’ve sadly forgotten—but I won’t forget the thrill of reeling them in!
Spending time with both Valentino and Roman was a highlight of our trip. They are warm, welcoming, and clearly love what they do. If you’re in Huatulco and want to experience something truly special, I can’t recommend Valentino’s Fishing Charters highly enough. This was more than just a fishing trip—it was a deep connection to the ocean and to the people who call it home.
