Needs a Better Museum Management
Bursa Archaeological Museum的点评
点评：I make sure to visit the archeology museum at every city I travel to and Bursa was no exception. But my visit turned out to be very disappointing not that the exhibit was poor but the museum management was awful.
The museum is located in a large park, there is a large free parking lot and the entrance is free.
The gardens of the museum are full of artifacts, very valuable ones but they are in such poor shape, all piled together, no explanatory notes, repair utensils here and there, cigarette buts everywhere, a real pity.
As for the inside, the exhibits are from the region, some of the findings are just breathtaking but the way they are displayed are both poor and old fashioned when compared with other archeological museums of Turkey.
There is no museum shop (just a souvenir vending machine) nor a museum cafe despite the fact there are plenty of space.
In short the museum’s exhibits are impressive but museum management is simply awful
