Potentially fun for families with kids but would skip if only in Japan for a limited time

点评：Meh.. the location itself is gorgeous which is why I think seeing the parks and water falls in Nikko would be more worth your time if just visiting for the day. Perhaps if you have small kids it would be fun; you can dress up in kimono, and samurai, as well as see small shows - the ninja one was the most exciting. However overall, not worth the trip in my opinion the entrance ticket doesn’t include any of the activities, food options while tasty are limited to basically just meat skewers and ice cream, and it overall lacks much excitement especially for adults. My favorite part was the edo craft museum which shows all of their innovations and products from the era which was quite impressive, but definitely would not go back or recommend for adults. We made a last minute stop to Tobu world square to try and make the long day worth it and that was way more interesting/ unique.
