点评：I walked the Wainwright Coast to Coast Trek in the UK from July 13th to 30th 2026, starting at St Bees on the west coast and finishing Robin Hood's Bay on the east coast. I went with Getaway Trekking an Australian company owned by Deb Manders. The organisation, planning, implementation, on-trek support both by guidance and safety first was excellent. The accommodation during the trek was first class and my luggage was transported on time to each night's destination. Deb and Mike Manders expertise, proficiency and knowledge of trekking was excellent which made every day an exceptional adventure. At no time during these 18 days of walking did I ever feel in danger of injury, exhaustion or giving up which I put down to my complete faith in Deb and Mike's ability to keep me safe and healthy for the duration of the walk.
I cannot think of a company that I would trust more with my wellbeing and I would highly recommend anyone who wishes to pursue a trek in Australia or overseas to contact Getaway Trekking for an exceptional experience. Thank you to Getaway Trekking for giving me an experience of a lifetime.
