The card terminal printed the confirmation of the transaction and all appeared fine however a second letter I was told that the transaction didn't go through. However a second later I am being shouted over by another lady whom I shown the transactions to ahain and that it had gone through on my end. She then started shouting at me on front of all customers that the transaction is not showing on her till and she ripped sweets out of my daughter hand saying I haven't paid for them, even though I have! So couple of words later I walked off the till leaving the snacks behind but she jumped from behind the till saying I cannot go and watch the film and that staff must not give me my tickets I have paid for! She said she is general manager at the cinema and that she knows the best as the tills are not always the best and this is happening there a lot of time to a lot of customers. My daughter started to cry as the situation had stressed her out seeing this lafy shouting and not allowing us to go and watch the film but also because she couldn't have her snacks I have paid for. Then the manager asked me to go back to the till and pay again if we wanted the snacks and cinema tickets. So she basically made me pay twice for our snacks. Any customers who have been in similar situation that the transaction didn't show on the till, please check your bank statements if you haven't paid twice. I will be taking this matter further.
