Emo Court . A really interesting place to visit with house tour , gardens , cafe and shop .

点评：We stopped off here whist driving from Dublin to County Kerry,.
Enjoyed coffee in the cafe and enjoyed browsing the small but well stocked gift shop.
Paid our entrance fee and the same reception lady gave the house tour.of the ground floor rooms. House full of architectural history, beautifully restored by the previous owner. Amazing social history explaining how this house has survived when like many it could easily have fallen into disrepair and abandonment . A really well informed and interesting tour guide who gave plenty of time to allow us to look and answered our questions.
The downstairs kitchens , larders, servants hall , laundry rooms and hidden servants exit tunnel are a fascinating look into a servant”s life that so few big houses have retained. We did not it have time for a walk around the lake and gardens . Throughly recommend a visit .
