Walsall Arboretum的点评
点评：Walsall Arboretum is on the edge of the town centre on the edge of the ring road. I found parking quite easily in a side street however there is a car park as well. It's a really lovely place to go for a walk and even though it was fairly early on a Sunday morning there were LOADS of people making use of the facilities of which there are plenty.
There are lots of wide paths to use as well as others. There is a small stream meandering through the park which flows into a lovely big lake where you can go fishing and also hire out boats at certain times.
There are plenty of places to sit and relax and there is also a cafe and a visitors centre which you can visit for more information about the park and the area.
It's a real oasis of nature with plenty of wildlife enjoying the area and when I was there lots of flowers were in bloom and there were lots of different trees with assorted colours of leaves.
There is a decent sized play area with a splash park open at certain times of the year. There are toilets here as well. Next to it is a small skate park for those who enjoy this sort of thing.
It's a really lovely place to visit and I never knew there was so much beauty in Walsall.
