Callville Bay Marina - Boat Rentals的点评
点评：I’m giving this place a 2 star rating just for the fact that we spent a lot of money (thousands) renting a house boat and the boat itself was just in really bad shape. The houseboat had 3 bathrooms but only 2 of them had functioning toilets. The first night there, one of the door knobs broke and one of my family members couldn’t get into her room. The on-duty security guard gave us some tools to get it opened. Most of the bedrooms had exposed carpet tack strips so we were constantly stepping on sharp tacks (it even made my daughter bleed). The boat has a huge TV in the living room that was supposed to have satellite capabilities, which did not work. The AC unit could not keep the boat cool (but I will concede it was over 100 outside most days). One of the bathroom doors did not latch at all. The exterior of the boat had trim pieces hanging off and being held up by nylon rope. The back door to the boat would not shut unless it was slammed and still had gaps. The front sliding glass door had a gap in the top when shut all the way (no wonder the AC couldn’t keep up). Every room had a small TV and a DVD player but not all of them worked. The wall mount for my TV was broke so the TV kinda hung limply towards the ground (not that the DVD player worked anyway so I couldn’t use it). I honestly wonder how long this company will last. They had probably 10-15 houseboats with motors missing and in disrepair that were literally dead in the water. The whole experience wasn’t very pleasant and I feel like we were ripped off. The marina did credit our party $1000 for all the stuff wrong with the boat.
