点评:An excellent museum, where each exhibit is in immaculate condition. The staff and volunteers should be justly proud of what they have achieved. There is onsite parking and the relatively small entrance charge, is well worth it. It isn't as large as I thought it would be, given the size of the original Leyland motors. The vehicles on display are superbly kept and bring back many memories for an old codger like me. There are some notable omissions, like the Leyland Titan; a stalwart of Northern bus fleets. Also missing was my all time favourite, the Leyland Leopard; in my opinion, the best single decker bus ever made, between 1973 and 1980. Outside of Scotland and Northern Ireland, they are as rare as hen's teeth.
There are a number of volunteers on hand, if you need to know anything. Toilet facilities are available, as is a small gift area and a cafe. The cafe has a very extensive menu. If anything, there is too much choice and it would be better to pare it back somewhat. All in all, a great way to pass a couple of hours, particularly if the weather is inclement.
